False: Coronavirus is cured by the colloidal silver.

The use of colloidal silver will not prevent or treat coronavirus (COVID-19) or any disease.Press release by U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on 9 March 2020 states that the FDA considered the sale and promotion of fraudulent COVID-19 products to be a threat to public health. FDA issued a warning letter to some of the companies selling colloidal silver or vital silver to cure coronavirus. Further, FDA states that colloidal silver is not safe or effective for treating any disease and currently there is no vaccine or drugs approved to treat COVID-19. National Centre for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) states that consumption of Colloidal silver and other complementary products have not been proven safe and never replace conventional medical care. Further, NCCIH states that colloidal silver can cause serious side effects and also cause poor absorption of some drugs, such as certain antibiotics and thyroxine.
