There is no evidence to state that any type of voter fraud or irregularities occurred in the 2020 U.S. presidential elections. After Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election held on November 3, 2020, former President Donald Trump and his supporters continually alleged voter fraud and irregularities in polling across the country. Trump claimed that the expanded mail-in voting and the counting delays in some states were signs of voter fraud. However, his claims are unsubstantiated, and there has been no sign whatsoever of intentional, systematic, and widespread voter fraud. Attorney General William Barr also announced that the Justice Department did not uncover any widespread voter fraud evidence. Trump's claims have ranged from "more people voted than the number of people registered in a state," and "the dominion system deleted 2.7 million votes for President Trump nationwide" and many more, but claims around voter fraud made by him have been repeatedly debunked. No credible media organization has found widespread evidence of voter fraud or any irregularities in the elections. On January 7, 2021, Congress formally recognized Joe Biden's victory.
