The message also states that under Section 233 of the Indian Penal Code, no woman will be punished if she killed a man who tried to rape her. This message is fake, and the government has passed no such law. Moreover, Section 233, deals with the non-bailable crime of making or selling instrument for counterfeiting coin and offers a punishment of imprisonment for three years and fine for same.
