GoAir India has dismissed the claim and said that it is allowing passengers to reschedule their respective flights without a fee.A tweet by a user named Arun stated that airlines like GoAir are charging passengers a hefty fee for re-scheduling their tickets for flights that have been cancelled. GoAir India replying to Arun's tweet informs that they are offering free rescheduling. Though, fare differential, if any, will be applicable on rescheduled tickets. GoAir India on its official website states that it is suspending its operation from 31 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis, but the passenger name record (PNR) is protected for one year and it can be rescheduled by any passenger anytime within the period without any charges except fare differential. The offers remain valid for passengers who planned to travel between 8 March and 30 April 2020 and want to reschedule 14 days before their departure dates. The customers can make a change in travel plans until September 30 without a fee. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
