Various reports have proved that the Plandemic documentary video by Dr Judy Mikovits is a false conspiracy theory about the spread of the COVID-19.The Plandemic documentary shared on YouTube by a filmmaker named Mikki Willis has gone viral on social media. The documentary features Dr Judy Mikovits, a former chronic fatigue researcher and also known as an anti-vaccine activist who made several claims on COVID-19 that are unsupported. The misleading video also speculates that the spread of COVID-19 was intended by billionaires to enforce worldwide vaccinations.
According to the reports, Dr Judy Mikovits was already fired by the Whittemore Peterson Institute for Neuro-Immune Disease in Reno, Nevada in September 2011 and in November the district attorney in Washoe County, Nevada, arrested her on the charges that she had allegedly taken some information about the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome research from the institute on her laptop, on flash drives, and her e-mail account. She was also charged with taking laboratory notebooks.
Also, the Plandemic video was removed from YouTube as the site has a policy that does not allow any content that goes against the World Health Organisation. The claims made by Dr Judy Mikovits in the video have gone against many guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation. So it was removed from the social media.
Therefore, the viral conspiracy video Plandemic is an unsupported theory.
The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
