The senior classes are scheduled to resume their academic activities from September 21 as of now.The educational institutions across India were shut down since March 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) on April 29 and July 6 had stated that the commencement of classes for the fresh batch would begin from September 1, 2020. Many universities have issued notice to begin seniors classes from September 1 through online sessions, further implementations would be carried as per the government instructions. As per the Unlock 4.0 guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, classes would begin in schools with 50 percent of teaching and non-teaching staff. Students of Grades 9 to 12 may attend the school premises only in areas outside the containment zones. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) would be provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
