Chief Secretary, R K Tiwari clarifies that high hotspot areas in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh would be sealed down but not all 15 districts entirely.Mr. Tiwari said to CNN News18 that due to the high load of cases reported in few areas, Uttar Pradesh government had decided to completely seal down the red spot areas in 15 districts till 15 April. It also reported that essential food items and medicines will be delivered to the doorsteps. The Hindu article reported that 15 districts including Agra, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Kanpur, Varanasi, Shamli, Meerut, Bareilly, and Bulandshahr had reported a number of COVID-19 cases and hotspot areas in these districts would be completely sealed.
