Union Minister on his Twitter had specifically stated that India has relaxed its lockdown only for some of the essential services across the country. The Indian government has released a list of the services that will remain functional across the country from April 20, 2020, even as the nation is under the lockdown until May 3, 2020, to contain the spread of coronavirus. Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had Twitted the list of services that will remain open and furthermore made it clear that this will not be applicable to the areas that come under the contaminated zone. However, the claim stating that India opens lockdown is misleading as the government of India has given permission to some of the essential services to be functional throughout the country and has partially opened the lockdown. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
