The tweet mentioned that that women can dial-100 or Women Helpline number-103 as the police are alert and available at any time for the safety of women. According to the verified official Twitter account of Captain Amarinder Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab, women in Punjab have a facility to avail free police drop to reach their home at nights between 10 pm - 6 am with a lady officer accompanying them. The verified Facebook account of Ludhiana Police confirms that women can call police helpline number for a safe ride home.
