The viewer further wrote that she had had a similar lump, and it turned out to be cancer. Subsequently, Victoria saw a doctor, and after a few rounds of tests, she learned that she had thyroid cancer and that it was spreading to her lymph nodes. She will undergo surgery soon, where the doctor will remove the tumor as well as her thyroid and some nearby lymph nodes. The New York Times also reported that this was not the first time this happened. In April 2019, Deborah Norville, the anchor of the news program 'Inside Edition,' had undergone surgery to remove a cancerous thyroid nodule from her neck. She said she had been monitoring the lump after a viewer noticed it on her neck and brought it to her attention a long time ago.
