Lawmakers and Federal Government employees while on dutyAccording to the DCist, the Mayor of DC, Muriel Bowser, signed an order on July 22nd, requiring people to wear masks in public under most circumstances. The article notes that there will be a few exemptions to the mandate, including children under three and people vigorously exercising, eating or drinking, or being alone in an enclosed office. However, the Government of DC adds that this order will not extend to people in the judicial or legislative branches of DC's government if they are on duty.
