A report by the World Health Organization for Europe region proves that COVID-19 is more lethal in men than women.COVID-19 weekly surveillance report by the World Health Organisation through a graphical representation for the week 30 March - 5 April 2020 (Epi week 14) has revealed the number of deaths in the European countries. The number of cases recorded in the European region doubled compared to the previous Epi week and 95% of deaths were in people aged 60 years and older. About 68% of all deaths in the European countries were in males. China CDC Weekly showed the fatality rate of the Chinese men was 2.8% in comparison to 1.7% fatality rate for the Chinese women as of 11 February 2020. The sample size of the study was 44,000 patients. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
