Netflix snagged the global trademark rights to 'Space Force,' the title of a new streaming comedy and the youngest branch of the US Armed Forces. Space Force is the name of the latest addition to the United States Armed Forces and Netflix’s original new workplace comedy starring Steve Carell, which premiered on May 29, 2020. The comedy show has no relation with the military organization, except for the same name. While Netflix has secured trademark rights in Europe, Australia, Mexico, and elsewhere for Space Force. The U.S. Air Force owns only a pending application for registration in the United States based on an intent to use.
