True: More than 70 COVID-19 patients are missing from Malad's Ward P North in Mumbai.

Records of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation state that at least 70 people who tested positive for COVID-19 in Malad's Ward P North are untraceable.The COVID-19 data collected by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) shows that more than seventy patients are currently missing in Malad's P-North ward, Mumbai, over the last three months. These patients are neither admitted to hospitals or COVID-19 care centers nor are they dead. In many cases, their contact numbers or addresses on the record are incorrect. BMC has sought police for help and submitted them the contact numbers, photocopies of Aadhar cards, and other details to find the missing patients. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar announced an inquiry into the missing patients and punishment of those responsible. Recent reports state that Mumbai Police managed to track down 44 of the 63 patients listed by BMC as missing. It includes 17 who resided under the Kurar police station area in Malad and two persons who had died. Moreover, three of the patients had committed criminal offenses under the Dindoshi Police Station. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
