A businesswoman who has expressed support for QAnon conspiracy theory and is pro-gun, pro-border wall has won the Georgia Republican primary. Marjorie Taylor Greene embraces the QAnon conspiracy theory that the F.B.I. has labeled a potential domestic terrorism threat. She recently declared that QAnon was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take the global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out. QAnon, a conspiracy theory has attracted a mass following since it emerged from the troll-infested fringes of the internet nearly three years ago, in 2017, and QAnon says there exist deep-state traitors who are plotting against Donald Trump. Apart from QAnon, Ms Greene has positioned herself as a strong supporter of Mr Trump and is pro-gun, pro-border wall, and anti-abortion. Politico reported that in early 2020 several videos were unearthed showing her making offensive remarks about black people, Muslims and Jews. Politico reportedly uncovered hours of Facebook videos in which Greene expresses racist, anti-Semitic, and Islamophobic views.
