Vistara has offered government medical professionals to fly free of cost across India on a first-come-first-serve basis during the pandemic.On April 25, 2021, Vistara, a Tata Singapore Airlines Limited, addressed a letter to Usha Padhee, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, on providing their aides towards the country during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the letter, Vistara wrote, they intend to provide their services to "government organizations/hospitals" in need of air services and logistics. The extend of their support will be based on the availability of cargo space. In addition, Vistara said that they would fly the "doctors and nurses" to and fro, even after they completed services "free of cost across the domestic network." They informed the service would be based on a "first-come, first-serve basis" based on the available seats. They advised that the medical professionals availing the benefits were required to follow all the "travel-related SOPs and present relevant identification and documentation." Amidst the second wave of COVID-19 in India, all modes of transports are coming forward to support and fight the virus.
