A press release by the Royal Family and an article by The Guardian confirms that Queen Elizabeth II would move to the Windsor Castle.The press release by the UK Royal Family on 17 March 2020, states that as a precaution and for practical reasons in the current atmosphere, Queen Elizabeth II would move to Windsor Castle for the Easter period on 19 March 2020, one week earlier than planned. It further added that the queen will stay there beyond the Easter period. Several public events with large numbers of people which was to be attended by the queen and other members of the Royal Family in the coming months would also be cancelled or postponed as a precaution due to the coronavirus pandemic.
