Tihar Jail is the largest prison complex in South Asia, which is run by the Department of Delhi Prisons, Government of Delhi. It is located in Tihar village in New Delhi. Owing to the presence of many female inmates and for their mental stability, the authorities have constructed a semi-open complex, exclusively for women inmates, which has a beauty parlor and fashion lab. Justice Mukta Gupta and Justice Pratibha M Singh inaugurated the new complex.
