The news release by Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo confirms that a tiger named Nadia has been infected by the coronavirus.The news release detailed that Nadia, the 4-year-old female Malayan tiger, had tested positive for COVID-19 which was confirmed by the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Ames, Iowa. Along with Nadia, its sister Azul, two Amur tigers, and three African lions had developed a dry cough, and they are all expected to recover.
