Unfortunately, there is insufficient credible evidence at the current time to accurately verify this claim. In 2016, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) released a statement where they claimed that beer is better than milk. According to them, alcohol in moderation can be right for you, but there’s no way to consume dairy products responsibly when they harm our health and cause billions of cows to suffer. According to a research report by the Nutrition, Metabolism & Cardiovascular Diseases (NMCD), regular and moderate consumption of beer confers similar cardiovascular protection. It protects against total mortality, both in healthy adults and in cardiovascular patients (refer pdf page number:6). However, excessive alcohol use, including beer, causes damage to several human organs and function and is a major public health and social problem. (refer pdf page number:12) According to a research report cited by PubMed, bad cholesterol is called LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol. High LDL cholesterol, in turn, increases the risk for coronary heart disease, but an appropriate level of milk consumption is modestly associated with lower CVD(cardiovascular disease) risk. And there is no correlation between the intake of milk and its derivatives and coronary disease or total mortality. However, there are no credible studies conducted so far comparing beer with milk.
